He has made the bat out of thermocol material with the hopes his endeavours would boost the confidence of the Indian squad. The bat weighs seven kilograms and measures 20 inches in width. About 60-65 sheets of thermocol were used to make the Bat. The pieces have been joined together to make the bat. It has taken almost 40 days to make.
